Huawei Nova 6 devices getting April 2021 security update, HarmonyOS developer beta test underway

Huawei Nova 6 series’ models including the Nova 6 and 6 5G have been passed the eligibility test and received the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer open mobile beta in the second phase along with the Nova 7, Nova 8, and MatePad 10.8 devices in Mainland.

The HarmonyOS installs a full house of changes and features including the new animations, home screen decoration, resizable widgets, app transitions, swipe-up gestures, and more.

Meanwhile, this Chinese firm hasn’t forgotten to treat the EMUI version of these smartphones and rolling out a new software update. As it plans to bring more enhance smartphone performance and security improvements.

Huawei now begins to send the latest April 2021 security release note for the Nova 6 lineup. It fixes several bugs and issues on the devices to protect the mobile against viruses and potential threats that could compromise the user data.

Besides, the smartphone users are also waiting for the stable update on HarmonyOS as the company aims to shift about 300 million devices, among them 200 million are smartphones and the rest are the other IoT devices including third-party applications.
