Huawei Nova 8 smartphone getting March 2021 security improvements

A few days ago, Huawei has rolled out the March 2021 security patch for Nova 8 Pro and Nova 8 SE smartphone users that fixes different levels of exploits and issues for improved system security.

Now, Huawei is sending a new software update for another device of the Nova family, the Nova 8 standard variant. This update brings the March 2021 security patch, which improves the system security as well as overall device performance.

March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Aside from this, Huawei has begun launching the 4G variants of existing flagship and also mid-range smartphones. In this line, the company also revealed Nova 8 Pro 4G powered by Kirin 985 4G processor.

Note:

Huawei Nova 8 smartphone users EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.159 upgraded from 11.0.0.152/155/158.

Update steps:

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

VIA SETTINGS:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on System & updates
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap Check for Updates
  5. Download and Install
  6. Install
