Huawei Mate 50 Pro global units getting March 2024 update

Huawei is now rolling out March 2024 software update for Huawei Mate 50 Pro global models and it comes with new security improvements.

Huawei Mate 50 Pro features a number of new features and a high-quality camera system. The phone was launched with EMUI 13 Pre-installed but the company has kept it on the same EMUI version for the past year.

Recently, Huawei opened EMUI 14 beta recruitment for Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro smartphones. These users in certain markets can sign up for the program and enroll to get the new beta builds.

EMUI 14 brings new features and animations for a better user experience. These new capabilities are available first for the beta testers.

Despite the latest announcement, the beta program may be limited to some markets. Once registered, the users will get to download over-the-air (OTA) beta software.

The changelog reveals that the new rollout for Huawei Mate 50 Pro comes with EMUI version 13.0.0.282 and it has a downloadable package size of 372 megabytes.

After a successful testing phase, Huawei will release stable EMUI 14 for all of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro owners.
