Honor 30 Pro on EMUI 11 receiving Fast File Transfer feature with a new update

Back in November, Honor completed the Magic UI 4.0 beta testing for the Honor 30 series in China and released the stable Magic UI 4 version for Honor 30 users via OTA update.

Now, Honor has started sending a new Magic UI 4.0 version for the Honor 30 Pro devices along with new features including a flash file transfer system, which provides 305Mbps high speed at a long distance up to 400GB large file transfer. The update also brings the new dynamic screen effect, Starry Night themes, fixes app issues as well as installs November 2020 security patch for improved system security.

Version: Honor 30 Pro and Pro+ users getting Magic UI 4 version 4.0.0.165 upgraded from 4.0.0.145.

Previously, Honor has sent the same software update for Honor V30 and V30 pro smartphone users that brought the same file transferring feature, November security patch, and more to provide a better user experience.

Changelog:

File Transfer: New large file flash transfer function allows the user to transfer large files, HD video, and images without any fear of size, distance, and image quality are not compressed.

System: New bright screen dynamic effect, When the screen is lit, the screen gradually lights up, giving the eyes time to adapt to the light source, making the bright screen experience more comfortable and harmonious.

Theme: Added “Starry Night” artistic theme, bright color painting, and smooth and continuous motion effects.

App: Fix the problem that the WeChat app cannot be selected when sharing.

Security: Integrates the November 2020 security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

REMEMBER:

1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
2. The update will not erase any data.
