Recently, Huawei has started sending a new HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta build for China-exclusive Huawei Nova 5 series devices. After the recruitment, the company is rolling out the second HM OS closed beta update for this lineup.
The HarmonyOS 2.0 beta program allows the selected device owners to test the new HarmonyOS features and installs improvements and bug fixes. These beta update releases are necessary before the deployment of the major update on large-scale devices.

- Huawei Nova 5
- Huawei Nova 5i Pro
- Huawei Nova 5z
The first HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta update for these Nova devices brought a new home screen, control panel, service center, HarmonyOS font, security certification, and more to provide next-level users experience.

Second HarmonyOS 2.0 beta version:
Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, and Nova 5z smartphone beta tester can upgrade their respective devices to HarmonyOS 2.0 version 126.96.36.199 from 188.8.131.52 in China.
Note: HarmonyOS 2.0 beta program is currently limited to the Chinese variant and soon expand for global models.
