May 2022 HarmonyOS Monthly and Quarterly Huawei Devices

The first weekend of May is here and Huawei has released the updated list of HarmonyOS devices, which will receive the May 2022 firmware update. Yes! the latest security patch details are also out with tons of improvements.

For your information, the May 2022 HarmonyOS security patch brings fixes for 66 CVEs. Among them, 1 CVE belongs to the framework, 5 CVEs were from the kernel, 6 CVEs from the system, 1 CVE from the application, and 53 CVEs were fixed in the third-party libraries.

At the moment, Huawei is rolling out the April 2022 security patch and will soon release the May 2022 improvements. The latest patch enhances overall system security and privacy as well as defends the device against the threat.

So, users, we suggest you don’t miss the security update or any kind of update dispatched by the company for device welfare. In the meantime, the news related to HarmonyOS 3.0 official launch has started dropping on the ground, which is expected to happen in September.
