It was reported that Huawei has a plan to launch a HarmonyOS Card Game at Huawei HarmonyOS Developer Day, which is scheduled to happen on July 31 in Hangzhou.

According to the new technology presentation schedule, there is a speech mentioned between 15:40 to 16:00 on the theme of the HarmonyOS Card You Never Expected Game. Following this, an unknown person speculated that this suggests that Huawei will launch the HarmonyOS card game.

According to the latest information, people familiar with the matter disclosed that the so-called “HarmonyOS card game” is not developed by Huawei and the company is not a game developer.

But, it refers to game demos developed by independent developers using the HarmonyOS system. Huawei’s role is to provide relevant tools and capabilities to game developers.

On this subject of game development, Huawei Consumer Business Software President, Wang Chenglu once announced that Huawei’s HarmonyOS team will never enter the game field.

“I think there are some applications in China whose disadvantages are far greater than the contribution they bring, such as short video applications, Games. In the HarmonyOS ecosystem, I will never do this,” said Wang.
