Huawei HarmonyOS will successfully exceed 300 million devices installation by 2021: Research

At the Huawei China Ecological conference 2021, Huawei’s rotating chairman gave a briefing about HarmonyOS, its latest features, use cases, and its upgrade roadmap for old devices.

He also mentioned that Huawei has set a target of 300 million devices, which include 200 million Huawei products. The rest from this aim will be filled by Huawei’s industry partners and third party device makers based.

As per the latest news coming from Galaxy Securities Reachers China, revealed that this company will successfully complete its target within this year. It said, Huawei is expected to install the HarmonyOS over 300 million devices by end of 2021, among these, 100 million will be third-party applications and devices.

Moreover, the report also concluded that the HarmonyOS platform may dominate the era of IoT and will lead the Chinese IoT market in no time. The benefit of distributive capabilities in HarmonyOS, make it easy to collaborate between the cross-platform application.

Huawei HarmonyOS’ full scenario smart life solution covers five major areas to provide a one-stop solution. It includes Smart Home, Smart Office, Smart Travel, Sports and Health, and Audio-Visual Entertainment.

At June 2 conference, Huawei announced that over 300 application and service providers have joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Furthermore, hardware equipment manufacturers just have already exceeted 1,000.

As of now, the company is rolling out the first batch of HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta builds for about 23 flagship devices of the company. However, the beta activity is exclusive for the Chinese models for the instance.

Adding to this, recently Huawei has added 28 more devices including Huawei Mate 20 Series, Enjoy Series, and Huawei Smart Series devices for the HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta activity.
