These 23 Huawei devices can register for HarmonyOS 2 closed beta [List, Phase 1]

At Huawei Developer Conference 2020, Huawei released HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system with extended platform support including smartphones, smart TVs, tablets, IoT as well as third-party brands devices.

Last December, Huawei announced the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta program. At the same time, the company started enrollment of limited flagship phones.

After 5 months of HarmonyOS 2.0 closed dev beta testing for initial devices, Huawei entered the public beta activity. In the first phase, 19 devices and in the second phase, 7 devices joined HarmonyOS 2.0 developer open beta.

On June 2, the Chinese tech giant held the HarmonyOS operating system and product launch event. On stage, the company launched HarmonyOS for smartphones along with smart products powered by HarmonyOS. The company also announced its roadmap to upgrade over 100 devices with HarmonyOS in the coming year.

Simultaneously, the company has also confirmed 18 Huawei devices, which were directly upgraded over the stable HarmonyOS version from the same day.

Now, the HarmonyOS beta campaign is opening for the first stage of closed beta testing for general Huawei smartphone users, and 23 devices selected under this software trial.

Some of these smartphones and tablet users already testing the HarmonyOS under developer beta but now more consumers can participate in this program.

These device users can register through the early adapter section in the My Huawei app. However, the rollout will start later on, once the registration is approved by Huawei.
