Since the initial launch, EMUI has been the best mobile software production from the Chinese tech maker that is based on the Android operating system. And last year, Huawei introduced a new version – EMUI 12 for its global smartphone users.

Speaking of new, the EMUI 12 has features such as a Control panel that brings a collection of services and shortcuts formed into one place. Thereafter, you can also take a look at the notification panel, which is now separated from the quick settings and can be accessed by swiping down from the top left corner of the display.

Thereafter, you can also get new animations effect for a better user experience, and don’t forget the Device+ feature that could manage all of your smart devices into one place. On the other hand, the performance boost is the thing that will lead you towards better task handling and app processing.

However, the EMUI 12 has a new user interface that is derived from HarmonyOS operating system. Although a report suggested that EMUI 12 is based on HarmonyOS operating system, it could be possible that it’s using Android instead of HarmonyOS. Therefore, it’s still believed that the software is based on Android, not on HarmonyOS.

Huawei is currently expanding EMUI 12 on its top flagship launched in the global market such as the P40 series, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 30 Pro but the Chinese tech maker will also reveal this software for old devices.
