December 2020 security update rolling out for Huawei Mate 30 smartphones

At the end of 2020, Huawei has closed the EMUI 11 beta testing for Mate 30 series on home ground as well as in the global market by delivering the stable EMUI 11 version for beta-tester and users running on EMUI 10.1 via OTA update.

For further improvements, Huawei has begun sending a new software update for the Huawei Mate 30 devices. This update mainly installs the security patch released in December 2020 that helps your device to fight against threads.

Aside from this, Huawei Mate 30 smartphones were recruited for HarmonyOS developer’s beta program. Recently, the company has kicked off the HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.33 but this update doesn’t have a changelog and only has a one-line greeting.
