After months of EMUI 11 testing in China, Huawei has moved toward the global market and started recruiting its previous-generation flagship devices including Huawei P30, Mate 20 series, and Nova 5T.

Huawei has expanded the reach of the EMUI 11 beta process for the P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X devices in almost all regions of the global market including Europe, the UK, and the Middle East.

Now, Huawei has begun sending the EMUI 11 beta version for the registered users to new EMUI 11 features for the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series devices inside South East Asia markets.

The first beta of the EMUI 11 brings new features that offer Multi-window mode, smoother animation, subtle effect, and more to enhance the user’s experience.

However, rollout is for the users who’ve participated in the beta activity via the Huawei Beta app. Also, it is currently under expansion and may take some time to begin to release in your country.

CHANGELOG:

Multi-Window: Multi-Window allows you to open apps for multitasking in a floating window. The floating window can be positioned as desired or minimized in the form of a floating ball for easy access later.

Smoother Animations: The brand new and intuitive animation effects in EMUI 11 make for a smoother, more consistent, and visually appealing user experience when typing or swiping the screen.

Subtle Effects: The subtle effects of activating or deactivating switches have been refined throughout the operating system for a more visually appealing experience.

Notepad: Allows you to scan documents. You can now quickly identify and extract text from images, edit the text, export it to multiple file formats, and share it.

Undisturbed Screen Projection: When you project your phone in Do Not Disturb mode onto your Huawei laptop, messages and incoming calls are displayed only on your phone screen, both protecting your privacy and ensuring the continuity of screen projection.
