XMAGE camera will launch with Huawei Mate 50 series: Confirmed

Huawei has confirmed that the Mate 50 Pro will launch with an XMAGE camera imaging system. This has been one of the latest unveilings of the phone that we have been waiting for.

Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO and Smart Car Business Chief  – Yu Chengdong, recently sat in a Q&A session (pre-recorded) and revealed that the Huawei Mate 50 series will surely launch with a new imaging system – XMAGE.

Yu told that XMAGE brings the mastered form of computational photography and consumers will experience it firsthand.

Launched a month ago by Huawei, XMAGE is a new camera imaging brand designed and developed by the Chinese tech maker. With this XMAGE imaging system, Huawei claims to bring a brand new user experience to all of its devices, starting with the Mate 50 series.

However, the story doesn’t stop there, because the company has previously confirmed that XMAGE will see many improvements over the coming years and there will be a lot more coming.

In addition to XMAGE, Yu has also confirmed that HarmonyOS 3 will bring some new features to the Mate 50 lineup, which has also been speculated in reports.

Furthermore, the Huawei consumer business chief has teased some new features such as satellite communication. It is an emergency communication feature, which would allow you to make calls and text messages without cellphone networks.

Adding to this, Huawei has also published a few exciting teasers including the variable aperture technology. It is a new and old camera tech but with a new Huawei flavor and the combination is destined to bring better photography for your daily shots.

Another teaser has hinted at an emergency battery mode, that would enable emergency use even after the phone’s battery run out of power. Yeah! Huawei’s upcoming flagship is interesting and interactive and it will launch on September 6.
