Huawei MatePad 10.4 installs HarmonyOS August 2022 update
Huawei is delivering the August 2022 HarmonyOS update in its mid-range tablet- Huawei MatePad 10.4 Yuedong Edition. As per the information, this update incorporates the security patches into the system.
According to the changelog, the August 2022 update in Huawei MatePad 10.4 does not bring major changes. Although, it optimizes the system wholly by including the latest August 2022 security patch into the system to enhance the protection capabilities of the tablet.
The update also nourishes the system to provide an uninterrupted and reliable user experience. Apart from this, there isn’t anything new in this update.
If you carry a Huawei MatePad 10.4 tablet with a compatible model number (BAH4-AL10) and (BAH4-W19) then you are eligible to grab the update.
The software is upgraded to the HarmonyOS 2.0.1.181 build version from the HarmonyOS 2.0.1.173 base version. The package size of the update is not mentioned in the changelog, so we suggest you manage enough storage on your device.

Before upgrading your device, please make sure that your tablet does not have a root. Take a backup of your important data to prevent data loss. Maintain enough battery and storage to install the software update. Also, do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the update process starts.

The tablet has 10.4 inches display with 1200×2000 resolutions. It is packed with a 7250mAh large battery with a faster charging capacity of 40W. It also supports 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB.
Speaking of the camera system, it consists of an 8 MP camera on the front side and a 13 MP camera on the rear side.
Furthermore, the tablet processes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SM7325 processor to provide better functioning to its users.
The tablet is available in two colors- Dark Blue and White.
Currently, the update is available in the Yuedong Edition. But we can expect the expansion of the update to other Huawei MatePad 10.4 users.
