Shanghai Unicom buys Huawei 5G network equipment that worth of 11.5 million Yuan

As per the recent information shared by the official website of China Unicom, Shanghai Unicom revealed Huawei‘s single source 5G non-centralized procurement project equipment announcement and purchase Huawei’s 5G equipment.

The purchasing overview mentioned in the announcement shows that the Huawei 5G radio frequency (non-centralized procurement specifications) and related surveillance aids will be bought by the Shanghai Unicom with a total budget of 11.5807 million Yuan.

It’s noteworthy that the shared budget doesn’t include the servicing charges. And, the shipping location will be Shanghai with a mandatory delivery period of 30 days.

The Shanghai Unicom explains that in order to meet the requirement of Huawei’s 5G network equipment, it’s important that the purchased devices will be from one retailer. Therefore, other providers aren’t eligible to supply the equipment and related service.

To be mentioned, in early June 2021, Huawei won the bid for the user data equipment for the number portability procurement project 2021 by China Mobile.

Besides, Huawei recently released the vehicle calling method patents for smart cars and smart connected automotive in China. The solution provided by this method will help the driver to call their cars using physical gestures to avoid struggling in narrow car parking.
