Picture-in-picture camera preview update for Huawei P40 series expanding in Europe

Huawei has released a Picture-in-picture telephoto camera preview update for the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro devices in Europe. This software rollout initially began in April in China and later expanded to roll out last month for the global models.

This latest EMUI update for Huawei P40 series brings the Picture-in-picture preview frame in the viewfinder when the zoom level is set to 15x or higher, adds Petal Search to the widgets on the home screen, and improves system security with May 2020 security.

Camera: Adds a Picture-in-Picture preview frame in the viewfinder when the zoom level is set to 15x or higher to help you focus. Enhances the Huawei Golden Snap feature. Improves the quality and colors of photos taken in certain situations for more natural, authentic effects.

System: Adds petal Search to the widgets on the home screen for easier app searches.

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

VERSIONS:

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro receiving the latest camera feature with EMUI version 10.1.0.131 and the update size of 845MB size. This update comes in two software packages.
