Huawei P40 series’ top model to be called “Huawei P40 Pro Plus 5G”

According to the previous reports and leaks, the upcoming Huawei P40 series comes in three variants – Huawei P40, P40 Pro and a high-end P40 device with 5 cameras. The phone was supposed to be known as the “Premium Edition” but a new leak suggests that it’ll be called with a different name.

Today, tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the top-end model with 5 rear cameras will be called – “Huawei P40 Pro + 5G” or simply put Huawei P40 Pro Plus.

A recent leak regarding the P40 Pro Plus showed us the following specs:

Rear camera:

  • 52MP f/1.8, 1/1.28, PDAF, OIS
  • Periscope F/4.0 240mm (Telephoto) OIS, PDAF, 10X optical zoom
  • 8MP f/2.0 80mm (Telephoto), 1/4.0, PDAF, OIS, 3X optical zoom
  • 40MP 1.8 ultrawide/Cine lens, 1/1.54, PDAF
  • ToF 3D depth sensor

Front camera:

  • 32MP F/2.0, 1/2.8
  • ToF 3D (depth and Face unlock)
