Alongside EMUI 11 major upgrade rollout, Huawei doesn’t forget to deliver further improvements for its existing devices. It proves that the Chinese smartphone maker is good at taking care of its devices.
Now, Huawei has kicked off a new software update for Nova 5 Pro and Enjoy 10 Plus that installs the security patch released in March 2021.This security update fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.
Models getting an update:
- Huawei Nova 5 Pro
- Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus
Coming to Nova 5 Pro, this smartphone was a top-selling smartphone of Nova segment and also been a part of EMUI 11 testing program for a long time. Moving on, this recieved the stable EMUI 11 version in November 2020 and users started experiencenew OS features and changes.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
You can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
