Huawei MatePad Pro grabbing September 2020 software update

Huawei has started sending a new software update for Huawei MatePad Pro users running on EMUI 10.1. This update brings the September 2020 security patch and optimizes typing experience as well as support for the Petal Search tool to start screen via update wizard.

Last week, Huawei has released the second EMUI 11 beta for Huawei MatePad Pro that brings new gesture navigation, optimization for the smart-split screen, and more.

Screen: Supported Petal Search tool to start screen via update wizard

Keyboard: Improvement for the physical keyboard

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in September 2020 for improved system security.

September 2020 Security Patch Details:

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

EMUI VERSION:

Huawei MatePad Pro receiving September 2020 security update with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.180 in Europe. The package size of this update is 550MB.
