If you’re not a KEY type person and like to play faster with your smartphone then you might have heard of a feature called navigation gestures. This feature allows you to close, open and go back and forth easily by just swiping your fingers across the display.

Navigation gestures are surely helpful and easy, aren’t they? But there’s one more navigation gesture feature that is available in most of the Huawei devices but users don’t get used to it and got perfect with new fluency with the launch of EMUI 11.

We’re talking about the Quick switch between app feature that allows users to switch between background apps with just a finger swipe or slide on the bottom of the screen.

First, to use the quick app switch, you need to enable the Navigation gesture function via:

  1. Open Settings
  2. System & updates
  3. Tap on Gestures

There are two types of gestures you can perform to execute this feature.

  1. By swiping across the bottom of the screen in an arc to switch between apps
  2. By sliding the bottom edge of the screen to switch between apps. But for this, you need to enable this part of the feature enabled from the Settings > System & updates > Gestures > Settings > enable Slide across the bottom to switch apps.
