A new software update is rolling out for the Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone that installs the security patch released in February 2021. It fixes different levels of exploits and issues to provide more system security.

Aside from this, the Huawei P40 Lite was one of the best-selling smartphones of the Huawei. Because of its popularity, the company released this model with different names in different regions as well as also debuted the 5G variant.

One thing worth mentioning, Huawei P40 Lite, P40 Lite 5G, and similar models such as Nova 7i, Nova 6 SE are compatible to run on the latest custom OS, EMUI 11. But the current EMUI 11 status for these devices is still unconfirmed.

On the other hand, Huawei is soon going to conclude its EMUI 11 major update across the globe but the company doesn’t yet make clear that these smartphones will get this update or not.

For a long time, P40 Lite 5G users are waiting to experience the EMUI 11 new user interface and features. They are really disappointed at the moment and still waiting with the hope that Huawei will do something for them.
