Honor launches MagicWatch 2 series, Band 5i and Sport Earphones in India

At the launch event of Honor 9X in India, Honor unveiled Kirin A1 processor equipped smartwatch – Honor MagicWatch 2 and an upgraded version of Honor Band 5 called Honor Band 5i.

Honor MagicWatch 2:

Honor MagicWatch 2 comes in two sizes of 42 and 46mm featuring 1.3 and 1.2-inch AMOLED touch screen displays respectively.

These smartwatches comes with fitness monitoring features such as GPS and GLONASS tracking system, 15 goal-based fitness modes, 13 different running courses, 5ATM water resistance.

Health Monitoring features – Huawei TruSeen 3.5 heart rate monitoring, Huawei TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitor and Huawei TruRelax stress monitor.

Honor Magic Watch 2 46mm can provide up to 14-day of battery life and on the other hand, the 42mm version comes with up to 7 days of battery.

Honor MagicWatch 2 series can store and play up to 500 songs, only the 46mm version supports Bluetooth calling feature.

Honor Band 5i:

Honor Band 5i is a sequential upgrade over the recently launched Honor Band 5 and comes with a shared design and features with the addition of a new direct USB charging that gives more convenience for recharging this fitness band.

The Honor Band 5i is equipped with a 91mAh battery that can last over 7 days on common usage and up to 9 days on standby. It sports a 0.96-inch AMOLED color display with 160×90 resolution supporting full touch screen and home button.

Band 5i has a SpO2 feature that enables users to measure blood oxygen levels, TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitor and a set of fitness tracking exercises.

Price and Availability:

Honor MagicWatch 2 46mm comes in two color options including Charcoal Black priced at 12,999 and Flax Brown at 14,999. On the other hand, the 42mm Agata Black version priced at 11,999 INR and Sakura Gold version priced at 14,999 INR.

The 46mm versions will be on sale starting January 19 at Amazon and 42mm version availability will be announced later. Customers who purchase the MagicWatch 2 46mm will get a free Honor XSport AM61 Bluetooth earphones worth 3699 INR.

Honor Band 5i is priced at 1,999 INR and it will be available purchase at Amazon starting January 18.

Honor Sport and Sport Pro Bluetooth Earphones:

In addition to these two products, Honor has also launched new wireless earphones – Honor Sport Bluetooth and Sport Pro Bluetooth Earphones priced at 1,999 INR and 3,999 INR respectively. These new earphones will be available at Flipkart and Amazon, while the company yet to confirm the availability.
