Honor MagicWatch 2 was first launched in China and now it’s ready to make its debut in other markets starting Indonesia, where its first sale set for today (December 19) with a price tag of Rp.2,299,000 via ShopeeMall.
This new watch will also be available in Malaysia at RM699 from December 20. Moving from Asia pacific, Amazon UK has listed Honor MagicWatch 2 for pre-order and will be launched on December 30.
According to Honor, the Honor MagicWatch 2 will be launched in various markets including Czech, Egypt, Finland, France, German, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, The Philippines, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Huawei Watch GT 3 series launched with big display, HarmonyOS, 2 weeks battery and more
Back in June, Huawei introduced its latest smartwatch – Huawei Watch 3 series that comes with a brand new design. It’s was the first smartwatch that has pre-installed the HarmonyOS operating system and provides a premium user experience.
However, the Chinese tech maker has not forgotten to bring a new installment of its year-long GT series. Therefore, it has now launched the Huawei Watch GT 3 series, this watch comes with a brand new design and a look that revolutionized the classics of the Watch GT 2 models and is powered by HarmonyOS.
Interestingly, the Huawei Watch GT 3 series is launched in two models – 42mm and 46mm. This lineup is the first to be made available in the global market instead of just being a China-exclusive product. This is great news for any Huawei consumer around the globe to grab this amazing piece of the smartwatch in their country.

Display and Design:
Huawei Watch 3 42mm version has 1.32-inch nad the 46mm version has a 1.43-inch AMOLED Color display that supports touch, slide, and gestures features.
The Watch GT 3 46mm is available in two colors – Black and Steel. On the other hand, the Watch GT 3 42mm is announced in three colors – Black, Steel, and Gold.
Both of these models are made of stainless steel from the front and the rear case with plastic finishing. Aside from the frame and colors system, the Watch GT 3 46mm has a Black fluoroelastomer strap, leather strap, and stainless steel strap. The 42mm also has a fluoroelastomer strap alongside white leather and Gold Milanese strap options.
Coming to the operations these smartwatches come with a physical button system including a crown on the top right, followed by a function button at the bottom right side of the watch frame.
The Watch GT 3 46mm is designed for the wrist size of 140-120mm (42.6g without strap) and the Watch GT 3 42mm is designed for the wrist expansion of 130 to 190mm (35g without strap).
That’s not it, the Watch GT 3 provides you all-around protection with its 5 ATM water-resistant rating at up to 50 meters depth.
The Watch is powered by an ARM Cortex-M chipset and has 32MB of RAM alongside 4GB of internal storage.
On the backside, it has the following sensors.

The battery can last for 8 days in the following situations: 30 minutes of Bluetooth calling every week, 30 minutes of music playing every week, heart rate monitoring enabled, Huawei TruSleep enabled for sleeping, 180 minutes of working out every week (GPS enabled), message notifications enabled (50 SMS messages, 6 calls, and 3 alarms a day), the screen is turned on 30 minutes a day.

Huawei Watch GT 3 series smartwatch will launch at the APAC Autumn Launch Event on October 28, 2021. This is quite an amazing confirmation, as it’ll be the first time when the company will unveil this watch first in the global market. Alongside the Watch GT 3 series, the company will also introduce Nova 9 and MateBook 14s for the consumers.
Alongside the announcement, the Chinese tech maker also showed us a glimpse of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 3 series on October 28. According to the renders, the Watch has a frame similar to the Watch GT 2 46mm model. However, now it has a round dial on the right side followed by a physical flat button below, which is identical to the Watch 3 series.
There is also various sensor embedded on the rear side of the device, which you can check down below. However, the rest of the design remained secret for the moment.
Huawei Watch GT 3 and Watch GT Runner:
A report reveals that the Huawei Watch GT 3 and Watch GT 2 has already completed Bluetooth and 3C Certification. Surprisingly, there are some extra insights that we need to know on this matter to reach a better conclusion.
The Watch GT 3 (JPT-B19) is not the only model that may come at the event, as there’s also a model Watch GT Runner (RUN-B19) that has passed the certification process. This device was also rumored to launch alongside the Watch GT 3 series and it seems the launch is quite imminent.
The JPT-B19 model has also been submitted to 3C certification process, which reveals to support 10W fast charging power. However, we’ll have to wait to get more insights on this matter.
The previous report suggests that the Chinese device manufacturer will focus on a more sports-focused approach with these smart wearables. Furthermore, it could have pre-installed the HarmonyOS operating system for ease of user experience.
Huawei Watch GT 2 46 mm getting second beta software
Huawei has started pushing the second beta software update for Watch GT 2 46mm version. This update installs new optimizations that will improve the overall system quality and enhance your user experience while operating this smartwatch.
Huawei Watch GT 46mm is receiving the second beta software update with version 188.8.131.52 and it’s an upgrade over the firmware version 184.108.40.206/220.127.116.11SP01. The update comes with system stability optimizations in some situations.
Note that this update is rolling out for the Chinese models of the Watch GT 2 46mm version. This rollout is related to the 4000 consumers who’ve participated in the beta activity. However, it’s currently unconfirmed, whether this update will expand for the global users.
Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm beta program:
Last month, Huawei Watch GT 2 46 began unknown beta recruitment in the name of new features. The following event includes the rollout of the beta firmware version 18.104.22.168.
This update brings a bunch of new features including a new lock screen password. The Watch GT 2 users can now put a lock on their watch. So, it would require a pin to very the unlock procedure every time you unlock the Watch GT 2.
There are new improvements or sports-related activities on the Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm. Now, the company has feeding new sunrise and sunset displays for outdoor sports. The new pace zone support will bring you more help to exercise scientifically.
There’s still more to explore, it adds support for the connection and third-party data sharing with Huawei phones and sports equipment. The new always on-screen option added, which will provide you with convenience for viewing real-time exercise data. You can access this feature from Settings > Excercise Settings > Screen always on.
Moreover, the update has female consumers of the Watch GT 2. The watch now has an improved menstrual cycle feature with the added support of cycles through the watch.
