New WhatsApp Privacy Settings

WhatsApp is developing the “My contacts except” privacy option for the users. Initially, it was announced for iOS and later confirmed for the Android device. Now, the team is working on the same feature for Profile Picture privacy settings.

For those who don’t know, the new options were previously announced for the ‘Last Seen’ settings. Now, when the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.21.2 confirms this function for the profile setting, the users will be able to hide their profile from some individuals in their contact list.

My Contact Except:

Users who often change the WhatsApp Status privacy settings are familiar with this feature. It allows them to hide their activity, which they select from the contact list. To be more precise, this function hides the user’s activity for the selected contacts.

Furthermore, this feature is already available for the WhatsApp Status and Groups. Now, the WhatsApp team also confirmed it for the profile picture after the last seen. To access this function

  1. Open WhatsApp
  2. Select More and click on Setting
  3. Choose the first option- Account
  4. Now tap on Privacy
  5. From here, you can set privacy for Last see, Profile, About, Status, Groups, etc
