Second phase HarmonyOS 2 closed beta recruitment begins for these 11 Huawei devices [List]

On June 2, Huawei arrived with a brand new operating system – Harmony, which, Huawei is planning to install in over 360 million devices in 2021 and a whopping 1.23 billion in 2022.

But right after the launch event, Huawei opened the first closed beta registrations for the first batch of Huawei devices. These devices include models from different platforms such as smartphones, tablets, and smart screens.

Moving on, the company then released the first HarmonyOS software update for the users, selected in the initial round. This new Huawei operating system replaces the existing EMUI 11 with a brand new user interface, features as well changes.

A recent report hinted that Huawei may skip a whole quarter (3 months) of the actual timeline and start early adaptation for eligible devices ahead of the announced time.

Closing in, Huawei has now officially started to recruit users for the second phase of the closed HarmonyOS beta testing for devices:

  1. Huawei P30
  2. Huawei P30 Pro
  3. Huawei Mate 20 X 5G
  4. Huawei Mate X
  5. Huawei Nova 5 Pro
  6. Huawei Nova 5
  7. Huawei Nova 5i Pro
  8. Huawei Nova 5z
  9. Huawei MediaPad M6 8.6-inch
  10. Huawei MediaPad M6 10.8-inch
  11. Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition

Originally, these devices decided to begin their HarmonyOS beta flight by the end of this year in China, which shows how smoother the development of HarmonyOS is underway in the background.
