Huawei has launched a new HarmonyOS 2.0 beta patch for Huawei P40 series smartphones in China that brings battery optimization. To be mentioned, Huawei has already announced the stable HarmonyOS 2 version for the P40 smartphones last month.

According to the latest information, the HarmonyOS 2.0 software patch only weighs around 30MB. The changelog reveals to bring optimizations for power consumption and system stability in some scenarios.

With this system patch, Huawei mainly targets the power consumptions factor of the system and optimizes the battery life of the device. Also, the improvements can provide long-time performance in a single charge and increase the software and hardware bound.
