In May 2020, Huawei launched the P40 Lite 5G with EMUI 10.1, Kirin 820 5G processor, 6.5-inch display with 1080 x 2400p resolution, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 4000mAh battery, and more.

Currently, Huawei P40 Lite 5G is working on EMUI 10.1 and eligible to install the latest EMUI 11. Users are waiting to experience the brand new custom OS features. But, Huawei has not made any announcement yet regarding this matter.

Meanwhile, Huawei is sending a new software update for P40 lite 5G smartphones. This update installs the security patch released in December 2020 and brings improvements for a display to enhance screen effect and system stability to run the device more stable.

Aside from this, Huawei P40 Lite/ Nova 7i/Nova 6 SE are also compatible to get EMUI 11 build. In mid-February, Huawei Egypt officially reveals that the Huawei Nova 7i will receive EMUI 11 somewhere around March 25, 2021. This is surely good news for the  Nova 7i and the rest of the similar model users.

As per the above official reply, it was expected that Huawei P40 Lite 5G variant users could grab EMUI 11 and able to experience its new features, which are introduced to make user’s life easier.
