Huawei P20 Lite was officially debuted in March 2018 with EMUI 8.0 based on the Android 8.0 version. This smartphone features a 5.84-inch display with 1080x2280p resolution, powered by Kirin 659 processor, 16MP dual main and selfie camera, and more.

After the launch, Huawei released two major software upgrades for P20 Lite users, EMUI 9.0 and 9.1 that brought a new user interface and improved features. Meanwhile, this device is not eligible to get EMUI 10 and above updates.

At the starting of this month, the company kicked off the December 2020 security patch for P20 Lite, which improves the system security as well as fixes the different levels of exploits and issues.

Now, we are happy to inform you that in the same month, Huawei is pushing another software update for P20 Lite smartphones. This update mainly installs the security patch released in January 2021 that enhances device security against threats.
