Huawei Nova 12 series rear case leak reveals camera system and a new 5G Kirin processor

Huawei Nova 12 is coming and today, a tipster leaked its rear TPU case with camera design and position as well as new 5G Kirin chipset details.

Weibo tipster, DigitalChatStation shared an image of the alleged Huawei Nova 12 series smartphone showing the camera bump, which is wider than the Huawei Nova 11.

The Huawei Nova 12 case also shows a restructured lens system. There are three cutouts in total consisting of a large one on top and two small at the bottom. There’s a small detail in the top camera making it octagon from all corners.

New Kirin:

The tipster further said that the company is ready to unveil a new mid-range 5G Kirin chipset for this upcoming Nova series smartphone lineup. However, it’s clearly mentioned that the new chipset is not high in quantity and the supply chain quantity is also less than demand.

Similar challenges also appeared after the release of the Huawei Mate 60 series with Kirin 9000s chipset. The company also has production and supply issues in terms of numbers.

Adding to this, Huawei’s mid-range series has also arranged a new flip-style foldable phone and numerous other foldable devices in the segment.

The tipster concluded by saying that the new traditional flagship device will bring powerful camera technologies and it could possibly be the Huawei P70 series, which may be unveiled in the first half of next year.
