Today, Huawei launched the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design, the first ultra-premium smartphone product under the new “ULTIMATE DESIGN” brand. This phone is all about its aesthetics and upgraded specifications. Let’s explore the device.
Huawei Mate 60 Ultimate Design carries forward the DNA of the past Mate RS devices. The new model implements a concentric design of central axis symmetry. The rear camera has a star diamond octagon shape. The entire rear outlook shows a perfect combination of ceramics and metal all across the smartphone.
Aside from its craftsmanship, the Huawei Mate 60 RS offers two color options – Black and Red. Each of them renders a new look with the light’s contact. It’s revealed that the rear panel took 60 days to manufacture and bring in those shiny colors on top of the phone.
That’s not it, Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design is also the first mass-produced red ceramic smartphone in the industry. The Chinese tech maker achieved this milestone with continues development and it’s highly recognizable.
This premium device offers a slightly curved screen with second-generation Kunlun glass protection. Similar to the Huawei Mate 60 Pro series, the phone also shares three holes on the display to house the front camera and 3D facial recognition system.
Huawei Mate 60 Ultimate Design is launched with a satellite calling feature. Yep, the phone is in the league of the first devices to support such technology out of the box, and no other phone offers except Huawei. The phone will be able to call another phone without requiring a native smartphone network, all by using satellite technology.
This device comes with HarmonyOS 4 operating system and the system performance is optimized with Ark Engine. The app launch speed has been improved and animations have been smoothened.
