Huawei Mate 30 Pro getting January 2021 security update [Global]

In September 2020, Huawei launched its latest OS skin, EMUI 11, and simultaneously opens its beta testing for its eligible devices in China. However, the company enrolled the flagship smartphones in the first batch to test the EMUI 11 features.

The first batch of the device includes Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 RS Porsche Design, MatePad Pro, and MatePad Pro 5G.

As of now, Huawei has concluded the EMUI 11 beta program for all devices, which are recruited in the first of testing in China as well as globally. Talking about the latest custom OS features, it offers artistic AOD, super notepad, AI subtle, multiwindow-multitasking, and more.

Recently, Huawei has started sending a new software update for Mate 30 Pro global users that installs the security patch released in January 2021. It fixes 4 critical, 1 medium, and 25 high levels of CVEs that improve system security.

Last month, this January security update was already rolled out for Mate 30 Pro users in China that protects the smartphone against the threat.

EMUI VERSION:

Huawei Mate 30 Pro receiving January 2021 security update with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.175 (C432E7R8P4) in Europe. The package size of this update is 193MB.
