Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro started grabbing September security update

We previously reported you that Huawei is currently working on EMUI 11 for Huawei Mate 20 lineup, alongside the P30 series and soon the owner of these devices can participate in the EMUI 11 beta testing.

Meanwhile, Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro on EMUI 10.1 receiving a new software update, which primarily installs the latest Android security patches released in September 2020 and makes improvements in system security and stability for better performance.

Last week, Huawei also announced EMUI 11 public beta program for 10 devices including Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series, and the first beta rollout for Huawei MatePad 10.8.

September 2020 Security Patch Details:

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

This latest update for Huawei Mate 20 Pro devices comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.311 upgrading from version 10.1.0.301 with a package size of 152MB.
