Following the launch at Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020, Huawei kicked off internal (closed) beta testing for several Huawei devices including Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series.
On the same day, Huawei also rolled out the first EMUI 11 beta build for these recruited devices in China. However, Huawei did not wait too long to open EMUI 11 beta testing for global users because later in September, Huawei also began the EMUI 11 beta testing in Europe and Russia.
Also, these devices also received their first beta with new features such as artistic always on display, new multi-window mode, and more, ahead of the public users.
Since Chinese users have received the first EMUI 11 beta, Huawei has now decided to process them in the public beta phase and soon they’ll start receiving new betas labeled with under public testing before they receive stable EMUI 11.
