Huawei is preparing to add a new member in the P-series, Huawei P50. Ahead of the launch, the hardware configurations, rumors, as well as renders of Huawei P50 lineups are leaked online, which creates excitement among the peoples, who are waiting to see the official revealing of this smartphone.
It was reported that the upcoming P50 and Mate 50 flagships will be equipped with Kirin 9000 processor that provides improved performance as well as a new user experience as compared to its predecessor.
Last October, Huawei released its high-end, Mate 40 series with the latest hardware and software technology including the 5nm Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E processors, pre-installed EMUI 11, fast wired and wireless charging, and more.
Recently, a Huawei insider from China discloses that Huawei already has reserved a huge amount of Kirin 9000 chipsets for upcoming flagships, P50 and Mate 50 series aside from Mate 40 series.
HiSilicon Kirin 9000 uses TSMC’s 5nm build process and has Octa-core architecture including 1 x Cortex -A77@3.13 GHz, 3 x Cortex-A77@2.54 GHz, 4 x Cortex-A55@2.05 GHz.
However, the main difference between these two chipsets comes is only in GPU, the Kirin 9000 uses 24-core Mali-G78 while the Kirin 9000E features a 22-core Mali-G78 GPU.
Back in May 2019, the US government added Huawei to the entity-list and restricts the American companies to do business with Huawei. The US has applied this sanction to hurt the Chinese tech giant.
Following the sanction, some of the American companies applied for a license to supply Huawei. Among them, Intel got permission to sell its chipset. However, 5G network equipment products are still under restriction.
On January 18, 2021, the Trump administration informed US-based Huawei suppliers that it is revoking certain licenses to sell to the Chinese company and also rejects the number of applications, which are subject to permission to continue business with Huawei.
Amid these problems, it’s also reported that the company will keep researching the P and Mate-series flagships and maintaining to keep stretching the lifeline of its smartphone business until any breakthrough in smartphone technology.
According to the latest report, Huawei is planning to shift its focus on other smart products including smartphones to expand its business in the future. The company will mainly focus on five major industry in China, which is as follows:

Huawei’s conjoined energy-saving catalyst project won Sustainable Development Impact Award
On October 22nd, Huawei’s conjoined smart energy-saving catalyst project won Sustainable Development Impact Award. The 2021 Global Telecommunications Management Forum (TM Forum) acknowledged the project. Network firms including China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile equally participate in this project.
This energy-saving catalyst project was collaboratively built by Huawei has been appreciated by global communication service providers (CSP) and their technology partners. Besides, the TM Forum focuses on developing and verifying innovative concepts.

Huawei released the upgraded whole-house smart solutions at the HDC 2021 event. Shao Yang, who is the chief strategy officer of Huawei Consumer BG describes the new modifications of 1+2+N whole-house smart solution.
He said, following the 2D, 2B, and 2C approaches the company will soon modify future in-house scenarios with industry partners. Related to this, the chief strategy officer informs, the company is building 15 cities with whole-house smart solutions that’ll be complete by the 30th October.
Moving further in this line, 15 authorized experience stores of the company will be instating smart house solutions. In addition, over 50 cities will also join this belt to upgrade more than 50 stores before the end of this year.
