Huawei Enjoy 9 December 2021 update

Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus device owners began collecting the latest December 2021 HarmonyOS software update. With security improvements, this update also brings optimizations and fixes of issues found in the previous HarmonyOS versions.

The latest HarmonyOS update for the Enjoy 9 Plus comes with upgraded version 2.0.0.140. Talking about the changes, it optimizes the device unlocking feature and display interface of the contact interface. Additionally, it resolves the issues of being unable to log in to the Huawei account.

Furthermore, the December 2021 HarmonyOS security patch fixes 1 CVE in framework, 2 CVEs in Kernel, 3 CVEs in the system, 3 CVEs in applications, and 62 CVEs in the third-party libraries. This security update protects the device against different levels of threats encountered in the system.

  • Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus smartphone users getting HarmonyOS 2 version 2.0.0.140 upgraded from 2.0.0.135.

  • Display: Optimize the display effect of the contact interface.
  • System: Fix the problem of being unable to log in to the Huawei account in some scenarios.
  • Security: Incorporated the December 2021 security update to enhance mobile phone security.

Remember:

  • The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%.
  • It’s compulsory to check your storage availability(Internal/External SDcard) to download the latest update as per the size required
  • A strong WiFi/mobile data connection is required for a buffer-free download of the package.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & Updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via My Huawei app:

  • Open the My Huawei app on your device
  • Go to the Update
