Huawei can increase the display area in curved edge display phones: Patent

On 16 July, Huawei has published a new patent for curved or round edge screen technology in the field of smartphones that can help in the expansion of the display area.

As per the information, its announcement number is CN113132512A and the patent was applied for registration on 31 December 2019 in China.

Patent Summary:

The patent document discloses an electronic device with a curved edge screen. The electronic device includes a device body, a screen, and a supporting component.

It is assumed that at least one side of the capital body forms a display area, the body itself has an initial display state. The device body can be triggered to extend to another extended display state, the area of the display area in the initial display state is smaller than the area of the display area in the extended display.
