Huawei announces US$220 Million Investment in Huawei Developer Program 2.0

On 25th April 2021, Huawei organized the Keynote seminar for the Huawei representatives and invited experts of the Cloud and AI industry.

This conference gives the platform for industry experts, university experts, and the developer community to jointly discuss the Cloud including its opportunity, latest trends as well as AI computing and open source.

At the same time, Huawei announced a US$220 Million Investment in Huawei Developer Program 2.0, concurrently released the Huawei Cloud partner innovative program.

Zhang Ping’an, president of Huawei Cloud BU and Consumer Cloud Service informed, Huawei is planning to invest US$100 million in Huawei Cloud Partner’s innovative program. He gave a speech on the topic “Huawei Developer Program 2021 Launch, Seeking Continuous Enablement”, at the end of the seminar.

The partner cloud activity targets the SaaS and ISV partners and will put forward the cloud resources, technology enablement, and business promotion support. Also, it will make up for six technical fields, including containers/microservices, SaaS, big data, AI, video, and intelligent edge.

Richard Yu, Executive Director of Huawei, and CEO of Huawei’s Cloud BU and Consumer Business Group enlightened the future scenario of the Cloud and AI during his deliverance. He said,

 “By 2025, 100% of enterprises around the globe will be utilizing cloud technology. Cloud is the future of the ICT industry and the foundation for enterprises’ digital transformation.

Developers are the soul of the industry. Huawei will continue to open its technological innovation capabilities and work with developers and partners to accelerate the cloud and intelligent transformation of business.”
