Honor Pad 5 series models are grabbing December 2021 HarmonyOS software update that can optimize the overall performance and user experience. According to the information, this update arrived with the HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.140 in China.

To upgrade over this latest HM OS version, Honor Pad 5 users need the base HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.126. Talking about the changes, the December 2021 update for Honor Pad 5 brings fixes for the problem of display interface, icons, and failing to log in to Huawei account in some situations.

In addition to this, it comes with optimizations for unlocking experience and system stability that help the device provide more stable performance. To be mentioned, it doesn’t include any security patch for improved system security.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.
