HarmonyOS 2 achieves over 30 million installation in smartphones: Huawei

Today, Huawei has officially revealed that HarmonyOS 2 surpassed 30 million installations on smart devices including smartphones and tablets. This is a huge achievement for this OS and progress to be proud of.

Launched on June 2, Huawei’s self-developed operating system, HarmonyOS 2 has started making its way to smartphone devices in China.

At the moment, the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing is exclusively available for selected Chinese models. With the unveiling, the company also shared the HM OS upgrade rollout map for 100+ Huawei devices.

In the midst of this development, Huawei has begun showing popularity and rapidly increasing the number of HarmonyOS 2 installations.

Still, global Huawei users are waiting for their turn and HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade plan, which is yet to announce.

Previous milestones:

A previous report reveals that Huawei has crossed 10 million installations in just one week of launch and then 18 million in 15 days including the users that installed HarmonyOS 2 via public and closed beta programs.

HarmonyOS 2.0:

HarmonyOS 2.0 comes with distributed capabilities and allows to connect and control different device platforms, Super Device is one of the biggest examples of these capabilities. Also, this new OS brings a brand new user interface and features as well as animations to enable a better and convenient user experience.

HarmonyOS 2.0 Progress:

After the official unveiling, Huawei has started HarmonyOS 2.0 closed and public beta testing for devices. However, the beta processes the initial stage before any major rollout to reduce the issues and bugs that arrive during the use.

Recently, Huawei has confirmed the devices for the fourth batch of HarmonyOS 20 closed beta. In addition, it also announced the HarmonyOS 2.0 stable update for 8 devices including Nova 8, Nova 7, Nova 6 series phones, and MatePad 10.8 tablet.
