HarmonyOS 2 closed beta recruitment announced for Huawei Smart Screen V series

On July 7, Huawei has opened the HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta recruitment for the Huawei Smart Screen V series. To be mentioned, some of these models were launched in April, with the latest version of HarmonyOS, rest goes up to 2019.

With the unveiling of these smart TVs, Huawei entered the new era of TVs and provides all the internet streaming, allows real-time gaming experience as well as offers more exciting features.

According to the new information, Huawei has begun the recruitment of Huawei Smart Screen V series devices with the base version HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 to test more new features. At the moment, this testing remains exclusive for Chinese variants.

  • Huawei Smart Screen V75 4GB+64GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V65 4GB+64GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V65 Premium Edition 4GB+128GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V65i 4GB+32GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V55i 4GB+64GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V55i 4GB+32GB
  • Huawei Smart Screen V55i 4GB+16GB

Recruitment details:

HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing slots for the smart screens are 1000, and recruitment was opened from July 7, 2021. Moreover, only the list of users selected in 1000 will be announced via SMS or Push Notifications.

According to the HarmonyOS 2.0 official upgrade plan, Huawei smart screens are scheduled to get hands-on HarmonyOS 2.0 in the fourth quarter of 2021. But, this early adaption process shows that Huawei has sped up the beta program and will soon deliver a stable version.
