February 2022 EMUI Quarterly Huawei devices [Global]

Huawei has published the latest February 2022 list of EMUI devices that are eligible to receive a quarterly update in the global market. However, Huawei continues to boost its device system security and performance by rolling out OTA updates.

A few months ago, Huawei introduced EMUI 12 as the next major software for global models. Meanwhile, the users were waiting for HarmonyOS. After exploring, it is found that EMUI 12 is inspired by HarmonyOS and provides a similar user experience.

As of now, Huawei has unleashed the stable EMUI 12 for premium smartphones including Huawei Mate 40 Pro, P40, and Mate 30 Pro in the global market. However, the EMUI 12 will soon expand its reach and cover all eligible devices.

To further enhance the EMUI system security, Huawei has just released the latest February 2022 patch details. According to details, it fixes 7 high and 1 medium level CVE as well as 11 CVEs in the third-party libraries.

To be mentioned, the rollout of the latest February 2022 security patch is not started yet. However, Huawei will dispatch it with the upcoming software updates and users can update it by visiting the phone’s setting or My Huawei app.
