EMUI 11 third beta version rolling out for Huawei Mate X smartphone that optimizes MeeTime calling feature

Earlier in November, Huawei has started recruiting Huawei’s first foldable smartphone – Huawei Mate X for EMUI 11 beta testing program. In the same month, the company has released the first version for the Mate X beta tester, which brings the new EMUI 11 features.

Moving ahead in EMUI 11 testing progress, Huawei has pushed the second EMUI 11 beta for Mate X users on December 4 that comes with a new flash file transfer, MeeTime, bright screen motion effect, optimizes for display, and more.

Now, Huawei is sending the third EMUI 11 beta update for Mate X users that installs new improvements for MeeTime and new EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.125, upgrading from EMUI 11.0.0.122.

NOTE:

1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
2. The update will not erase any data.

HOW TO UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
