Honor X10 smartphone users have begun receiving the January 2022 HarmonyOS security update. The security patch fixes common threats and bugs that can lower the performance of the system.

With January 2022 HarmoyOS security patch, Huawei resolves 4 CVE in the framework, 10 CVEs in the system, and 5 CVEs in the application as well as 111 CVEs in the third-party libraries for better system security.

According to the information, Honor X10 users getting the upgraded HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.220 with January 2022 software update. However, the latest HM OS version is the follow-up of build number 2.0.0.218.

  • Honor X10 (TEL-AN00)
  • Honor X10 (TEL-AN00a)
  • Honor X10 (TEL-AN10)
  • Honor X10 (TEL-TN00)

Apart from security improvements, Huawei has not added any other major changes in the changelog made for the smartphone system. But, the importance of security patches is not less a feature, they are just essential.

Update instruction:

To download the latest software version Honor X10 users can visit the smartphone’s Settings, then tap on System & updates and from here you can tap on Software updates and follow by CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Wait while the system is fetching available software rollouts, if available the system will pop a screen with an update and changelog information, tap on the download and install option. Once the update completes, the device will automatically reboot. During the full update process, don’t be in a hurry because it take some time.
