Huawei is sending the January 2022 HarmonyOS security update for Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition China-exclusive smartphone. This update increases the firmware version of the software system and provides more security to the smartphone.

To install the January 2022 security update, Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition users are required to download a software update with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.222. Meanwhile, the baseline version should be HM OS 2.0.0.219.

Further, the changelog reveals that the January 2022 HarmonyOS security patch resolves 4 CVEs in the framework, 10 CVEs in the system, and 5 CVEs in the application. Adding to this, 111 CVEs were also fixed in the third-party libraries.

To be mentioned, Huawei has recently dispatched the January 2022 update for the rest of the models of the Huawei Nova 7 SE series including Nova 7 SE 5G and Nova 7 SE 5G Lohas Edition.
