New features along with February 2021 security released for Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2

Huawei is very busy in preparation for the new product for upcoming launching. In the meantime, the company is also taking care of its existing devices and sending new software updates.

Recently, Huawei has delivered the February 2021 security improvements for MatePad 10.4 tablet. This security patch fixes 2 critical and 26 high levels, and 77 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Now, a new update with the latest changelog is rolling out for Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2. This update comes with new features including a popular recommendation folder on the desktop, a quick download icon for Link Now, installs February security, and more.

New EMUI version: Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2 getting EMUI 10.1 build number 10.1.0.160 updated from 10.1.0.136/137/138.

  • Added a new popular recommendation folder on the desktop to intelligently recommend popular and selected applications for you. Added a quick download icon for the Link Now application.
  • Optimized compatibility with some third-party applications

Security

  • Incorporate the February 2021 security patch to enhance system security.

Before you upgrade:

  1. We recommend you take a backup of your important data.
  2. Use a stable connection to download the update package.
  3. Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on System & updates
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap Check for Updates
  5. Download and Install
  6. Install and restart your device

  1. Open the Support app
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Tap on Update
  4. Download and Install
  5. Install and restart your phone

About Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2:

Last July, Huawei launched a bunch of new products including Enjoy Tablet 2 powered by a Kirin 710A processor. It sports a 10.1-inch FullHD+ display with 224PPI, powered by the 2.0GHz Kirin 710A octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64/128 storage option. The tablet comes in both WiFi and LTE versions.
