Alongside the drawing tools, emojis, and communication section, WhatsApp also starts enhancing its video watching capabilities by providing them with control bar buttons.

At present, the other social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, ShareChat, and Streamable offer the picture-in-picture control bar capability. So, WhatsApp begins developing this section to be more competitive towards the other applications.

In the latest edition, WhatsApp released the Android 2.21.22.3 beta update that is bringing the control bar features for the device. Now, the users will be able to pause and resume the streaming clip while encountering any other work.

Let’s first check the new feature preview-

WhatsApp Control Bar:

As we know, if we receive any video link from Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube, WhatsApp allows a picture in a picture videocast. Now the control switches will have a pause button to enable the user to resume and stop a video. However, the YouTube videos will have two options of watch later and share in full-screen mode.

Availability:

This new feature has been rolled out with a 2.21.22.3 Android beta update. At present, some selected users are receiving this feature, so those who didn’t get it yet are recommended to wait until the next update.

Previous Update:

With the earlier update, WhatsApp informed about the copy sticker image function for the WhatsApp Web user. It will appear when a user mouse over the sticker in the chat. Furthermore, the users will be able to share the converted stickers in other chats.

At present, this feature has appeared for the WhatsApp web users with macOS. However, there is no clear information about the release of this feature for everyone as it is still in the development phase.
