WhatsApp’s About also getting my contact expect privacy feature
WhatsApp is designing the new “My contact expect” privacy feature which is already announced for the profile and last seen settings. Now, WhatsApp’s About also getting this custom privacy setting option.
It’ll let a user hide its About (Bio) details from some individuals in their existing contact list. Once this feature will available, users will be free to chooses whom they want to show their details with further customizations.
Furthermore, the function is in the developing phase and is not available for beta testers. But looking at WhatsApp’s recent activity about this setting, it’s expected to be available soon for the users. For now, you can check the preview below-

WhatsApp My Contact Except Feature:
This feature will allow a user to hide their activities including profile picture, last seen, and about from some selected users. It’s the same feature we can find in the privacy settings of WhatsApp Status and Groups.
Besides, it has the same working manner as the other functions. If you won’t let others know about your WhatsApp details, you also won’t be able to check them as well. As of now, WhatsApp has confirmed this feature for Android and iOS platforms.
However, the official news for the Apple devices is yet to announce. Users can access these settings once they’ll officially available for them. Just open WhatsApp>select more and click on Setting>Account>Privacy. From here, you can set privacy for Last seen, Profile, About, Status, Groups, etc.

In the future, WhatsApp will let the users manage their backup size displaying them the individual backup size of the various sections including Photos, Videos, Documents, and other media. It might be WhatsApp’s response to the rumored news about the limited storage plan of Google Drive. However, there are no official words available from the company.
