Toyota may team up with Huawei to develop new smart driving solutions

Toyota automobile cooperation is likely to join hands with Huawei to develop new smart driving solutions and use them in its global models. Both parties are already in a relationship, but the latest one hints at a specific focus on driving scenarios.

According to a recent report given by Tencent Auto, Toyota Motor plans to frame ‘Toyota + Huawei + Momenta’ cooperated model for new smart driving solutions.

This particular mechanism would be different from the original Huawei ADS high-end automated driving system. Momenta may look after the support requirements in this association while Huawei could work as the supplier of hardware components.
