ArcFox Alpha S Advance Edition with Huawei ADS 2.0 may launch later this month

Extreme ArcFox Alpha S Advance Edition is in the making and hearsay to equip the Huawei ADS 2.0 smart car solution. A new input also hints that the respective elective vehicle could launch later this month, at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.

ArcFox Alpha S comes under BAIC Automobile Corporation. The firm is now adding more new smart car versions equipped with innovative tools and features, to its gallery.

The 2024 Beijing Auto Show will take place from April 25 to May 05. At this event, several automakers will shed light on their new car models, yearly achievements, and strategies to make more user-friendly electric vehicles as well as interact with users.

During this event, ArcFox could launch an extreme Alpha-S Advance Edition equipped with Huawei ADS 2.0 smart car solution. Although a specific release date and other key features are currently absent from the inputs frame.

Huawei ADS 2.0

The Chinese tech giant has launched its second-gen automated driving system last year. It packs a variety of new features to simplify the driving needs of users.

Safety remains a priority in the Huawei ADS 2.0 system. It uses laser fusion GOD network technology for a safe and smooth drive experience. It also optimizes the high-speed aspects and ramps the mileage up to 200km. Navigation and Parking are the other two major features of the Huawei ADS 2.0 driving system.

New Alpha-S Advance Edition:

The upcoming Alpha-S model seems to be a modified variant of the base version. It may adopt a few design upgrades along with new additions of sensors and cameras. Other parameters may count as 6mm wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 9 ADS lenses.

ArcFox Alpha S also said to use a Huawei MDC810 processor for super-efficient performance. It could opt for a dual-motor four-wheel structure with a price tag of 300,000 yuan. We may find more details at the launch event.
