New Huawei AITO M5 smart car launch confirmed for April 23

Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong has confirmed to launch of the new AITO M5 smart car model on April 23. The executive said that the electric vehicle will show up at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show event with major upgrades.

While elaborating on various topics at the HarmonyOS Eco Spring event, Yu Chengdong announced to unveiling of the Huawei AITO M5 smart car on April 23. He added that consumers will catch better improvements and features over the previous model.

Although the CEO didn’t mention any other details or specifications of the approaching automobile. Yet, a few early inputs have shared notes on the new AITO M5 EV.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus mentioned that the upcoming AITO model is likely to bring a significant boost to the performance aspects. It will end all the issues and problems found in the current M5 vehicle and procure new as well as improved features.

Another change could be visible in terms of design and color scheme. The information reveals that Huawei shared a preview image at yesterday’s event and showcased the extended version of the respective car with a closed front design.

Two of the alleged live images of the Huawei AITO M5 car have been spotted online as well, reflecting a ‘Snow Peak Gray’ shade with a luxurious look. The main ‘AITO’ branding appears on the front side with black wheels, housing red brake calipers.

One can see a lidar on the car’s roof that will ultimately help consumers experience stable and smart driving. Further details will be live at the Beijing Auto Show 2024 on April 23.
